The John Curtin Gallery, which houses the Curtin University Art Collection also celebrates its 20th Anniversary in 2018 after opening as Australia’s largest university art museum in 1998. Directors’ Cut is curated by John Curtin Gallery Director, Chris Malcolm in collaboration with the other two curators to have led the JCG since it opened in 1998 – John Barrett-Lennard (founding Director, 1995–2001) and Professor Ted Snell (Dean of Art, 2001–2009).
