Footprint is an acknowledgement of the complicity that we share in building a privileged lifestyle on the proceeds of avarice. The Kangaroo skin becomes a visitor’s whimsy, twisted underfoot by the relentless urban dream of ownership at any cost. To ignore the cost of taking so much and giving so little is to deny the inherent violence of entitlement. I want see the ground we stand on as something greater than the walls we build, to tread lightly and acknowledge the millennia of footprints before me.
